Hello all of you here!

I am very sorry that I don't spek your language, so I leave my message here in English and I hope that someone of you can translate it here in the messageboard in your own language.

It was a surprise for me to found my site here on this messageboard. Since then there is a lot more to find on my site and it is now in Dutch, English, French and German.

You can download POI's for most used navigations systems for:
- 3800 campings along the West-European highways
- 550 campings associated with CampingCheque
- 1100 campings associated with CampingCard ACSI
- 8000 selected campings in Europe.

ALL FREE!

I will appreciate that you announce my site in other messageboards so many people as possible can use the results of our work.

The probably last update (vs 1.0706) before the summerholidays 2007 of my site is now online.

This time there are no many changes to report, most important is that the Irish campsites along the autoways are added.
We didn’t receive any mail with corrections on the gps-positions , so we haven’t any changes on this point.

If you use this summer our poi’s and you find any mistake (which we don’t hope of course), please report us by using the mailboxes on our sites, so we are able to achieve the highest level of perfection in the future!

August the 1th the latest update 1.0708 (1. 1th annual, 07 year, 08 month) of my website is published in the meantime with more as 15000 campsites in total.

What is new?
Where necessary the positions of the entries of the campsites are adjusted, new campsites are added and campsites which are closed have been removed.
The CampingCheque file has been actualised.

The file Euro10000 has been expanded to Euro11000. Please notice that the positions of te campsites in this file (in contrast to the other files) have not been checked by ourselves!

Please don’t hesitate to send us an email with your comments!

Hello to all of you,

Tonight vs 1.0709 of Archie’s Snelwegampings has set online.

Thanks to the enormous efforts of my Flemish partner Parafoeter a few hundreds new campsites are added to the poi’s, also along the highways in Eastern-Europe! The CampingCheque-file is expanded by him with the newest participants.

Unfortunately we had to remove a few campsites that didn’t exist no longer.
The euro11000-file (not located and not controlled by ourselves) is getting more and more accurate thanks to e-mails of attentive users of my poi’s.

· closed campsites?
· campsites missing in our files?
· wrong gps-positions?
· please send us an e-mail!

Unfortunately I have made in my update of yesterday a terrible error in the file of CampingCheque campings. Longitude and latitude were changed, so all the CC-campsites were placed in Africa and the Indian Ocean.
In the meantime this error has been removed and you can download the right positions again.

All the other files were correct.

The first update in 2008 (vs. 1.0801) of Archiescampings is online.
Besides a few adjustments to the other three poi-files, this time as promised we have worked hard to improve the euro11000-file.
In the meantime more as 1000 campsites of the 11000 have been checked and if necessary adjusted. More info you will find in a little word-file which is added to the download.

One reason is that it is a little embarrassing to me to announce every time my own work, the most important reason is that it takes an enormous amount of time to do so, because my website is now mentioned in almost 200 forums all over Europe.

Thanks to the enormous efforts of Parafoeter who has located all these campsites, I was able to publish a new “special” in which you find almost all French campsites. Among these campsites you will find a lot of “municipals” and little campsites. Information about the names of the cities and the department numbers has been added as additional information.
NB: These 9000 French campsites will not been found all (yet) in the large euro12000-file.
